Within the last year, Organic Exchange has moved from email and phone reservations to online reservations for their annual conference and development meetings. With conferences held worldwide and catering to a diverse clientele from farmers to top-name clothing manufacture executives, the reservation processes needed to address a large number of contingencies and pricing structures. On top of that was the need to access the information in real time and remotely from laptops working in far-flung locations such as Benin and Peru. Sanchez Street Studios recently redesigned their website, hiring a San Francisco design firm to refresh and renew the look and feel. To complete the process, I was asked to review the site with a set of new eyes. Taking the approach of an end user, I was able to identify redundancies, bad links and confusing copy.
